COVID 19 has hit all of us hard in some way. At the River, we stand firm in God's promise that He is with us ALWAYS, and is near to anyone who calls on Him (Isaiah 40). As we prepare for our "new normal", you might be asking "what will worship services or fellowship times in person look like?" We can't give you all the answers yet, but we do want to share 5 things we will focus on as we try to to help keep everyone safe. Why do we give of our finances?
Three simple reasons explain it:

We give because it is an important part of our worship to God--like we give of our time or our heart, or words of praise to God, we give of our finances because we trust Him in all things.

We give because of our commitment to maintaining the life of the church and its initiatives--God inspired entities that make the world a better place.

We give out of obedience to the word of God that implores us to give. In addition, God's word promises that when we give, we will be blessed.
When you give to the River Church, it goes toward the improvement of the building we use as a base for fellowship, toward outreach to those facing challenging situations (whether a literacy program overseas or a single parent in need of food), and helps us save for future programming, e.g. for youth. and communities.
