COVID 19 has hit all of us hard in some way. At the River, we stand firm in God's promise that He is with us ALWAYS, and is near to anyone who calls on Him (Isaiah 40). As we prepare for our "new normal", you might be asking "what will worship services or fellowship times in person look like?" We can't give you all the answers yet, but we do want to share 5 things we will focus on as we try to to help keep everyone safe. To really G.R.O.W. requires prayer - first. It is a critical practice that we love to share with others, and something you can get involved in at any time. Prayer very simply is communicating with God and God promises us His presence, peace and power if we dedicate ourselves to it. Wherever you are right now, God cares, is willing to listen, and is willing to respond to you. You might find us scheduling times to pray together as a church body, or praying via phone, in person or online in pairs or small groups. This is our lifeline and we want it to be the source for all small groups - groups we hope you'll become a part of. Because we are in growing stages, we have existing opportunities but there are many more potential ones...scroll down, read on and join us!

Men's Coffee Fellowship - Postponed :(
Coffee and great conversation. Every second Saturday of the month. 7:30--ish am
(yup you heard us right :). Men of every age and background welcome...come just as you are!
River Youth Zone!
Every single child is a precious gift; our vision is to see them maximize their God-given potential and make a positive impact on the world. We are excited about our classes for kids every 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month -10am! Whether online or in person, elementary school aged kids connect with each other and an experienced teacher in fun, creative ways as they learn more about the good news God brings.
Volunteering and Outreach
For several years, our church fellowship has committed to helping with funding for missions in Malawi, Africa (a vision of founder Pastor Brian Robinson) - and locally we have engaged in a clothing and food drive. Individually, we are involved with different community organizations in the Greater Providence area and just this year we came together with other churches to combat food insecurity. As a body, we want to do much more to spread the good news of Jesus in practical ways that empower the community. Interested? Share your idea and help us build!
